Policy and Research Intern
Paloma Lopez joined the Alliance in July 2025 as a Policy & Research Intern, where she supports policy research and data analysis on energy efficiency.
 
Prior to joining the Alliance, Paloma worked as a Research Assistant with the World Bank’s Development Impact Group AI Team, focusing on qualitative content analysis to support AI-driven development projects. She has also interned at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, where she supported Congressional oversight through data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and policy recommendations on homeland security issues.
 
Paloma graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2024 with both a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a Master’s degree in Global Policy, specializing in Security, Law, and Diplomacy.
